AR series Submersible Jet Aerator Self-aspirating Submersible Aerators are applicable for aeration & mixing of waste water in treatment plant. Special design of the impeller generates strong jet flow of water mixed with air & supplies oxygen into wastewater.
Submersible Aerator AR Series utilizes the rotation of the impeller coupled directly to the motor to create a centrifugal force, which makes localized pressure suction in water. Due to venturi action vacuum is created at the entrance of the impeller which in turn draws air from atmosphere. Water and air are mixed in the channel of aeration housing. This mixture is discharged rapidly by the centrifugal force.
Due to water spurting out forcefully convection waves are created. Mixed air is converted into millions of tiny air bubbles. These bubbles rise slowly to waste water surface and oxygen is dissolved in water in this process. As bubbles are tiny and numerous the contact area is larger. Hence oxygen transfer rate (OTR) is higher than conventional aeration systems.
